Emmett Therapies are Running a new Module 1 & 2 in Tamworth on the weekend of 28th & 29th August
Come and join us for an extremely interesting and informative two days of training. Knowing that by the end of the weekend you will have new skills to be able to make your clients or those around you more comfortable.
The Emmett Technique course is filled with simple easy to understand releases for all areas of the body, including;
- Two Psoas releases for posture, bloating, uneven shoulders, uneven hips, back pain and much much more.
- Iliacus and obliques releases for back pain and hip pain in pregnancy.
- Piriformis & TFL for back pain, sciatic pain and leg length discrepancy.
- QL's - Great for trunk rotation,
- Trap release for uneven shoulders, head tilt, neck restriction (and that's just the beginning!! )
- Three Rhomboid releases for all sorts of shoulder, arm and neck restrictions.
- Levator Scap for pain in Shoulder blades, neck restrictions and discomfort associated with headaches.
- A Brilliant Calf release. Excellent for fluid retention and foot flexion.
- Bicep and AC releases for forearms and shoulder and neck restriction and discomfort.
- SCM - Definaterly ONE of the best releases I have ever come across for neck rotation.
In addition to these physical releases, you will also learn about gaining the best out of your treatments, by the timely application of specific words, the working environment we create and the anchors we use to create quick, effective results with our clients.

Seichim is an Egyptian Healing System which is more feminine & gentle than Reiki, but works alongside Reiki to promote a deeper level of healing which is accepted more easily by the client in many cases.
The remaining Reiki workshops for 2010 will be held as follows: Reiki Level 2: September 18th & 19th Reiki & Seichim Master & Teacher: November 6th & 7th Children's Reiki Level 1: Saturday September 4th

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to let you know that I've just listened to a teleconference with naturopath Sherrill Sellman who is coming to Australia soon - she wrote the Hormone Heresy and What Women Must Know To Protect Their Daughters From Breast Cancer. I first saw her in a DVD of one of her lectures at Radiance - a Wellness Conference which is part of the Woodford Folk Festival and found her to be a very passionate alternative health advocate who was willing to stick her neck out and talk about the adverse affects of conventional medical treatments like HRT, birth control pills, cortisone medication and many others. If you have a chance to go to her lectures or the one day workshop I think you'd get a lot of good information about wellness - changes you can make to your lifestyle - that could make a real difference in addressing root causes of many chronic, inflammatory, autoimmune diseases, emotional imbalances for both men and women and for the future health of our children (precocious puberty in children is an increasing problem with children going into puberty as young as 8, apparently). Information about avoiding the chemicals that upset our hormonal balance and providing information that could help make decisions about our health that is more likely to improve our health rather than slowly worsen it. She'll also be at the Nexus Conference coming up in Brisbane if you're going (don't miss it, Sam!) and a lecture in Maleny. And if you do go to one I'd love to know about your experience if you're willing to share it - being in Coonabarabran makes it kind of difficult to get to these things! I understand that there is also information available on her website and via her radio shows that you can listen into via the web or download from her archives (and via her books, of course).
