Need help re: constitutional land use
Hello family, customers, friends, who ever you are reading this...
We are asking, no pleading with, you all to go to this link and have a read and especially have a listen to the 2GB interview. I don't know h ow much you all know about this but by reading and listening you will be at least informed and maybe some of you will be annoyed enough to contact our pollies and make your views known.
You may think it is all a bit over the top, there is so much you don 't know that we have known for some time and some we have just learned about, its very scary and has to be fought. Just as an eye opener: some of our land is crown land and all farmers have been encouraged over the last few years to buy the crown land they have been leasing. We put in to buy ours years ago and now it is happening finally. The surprise is we will not actually be able to do as we like with it as they have written into the contract that it has to be used according to their rules. If we decide not to buy this land it will cost us around $4000 to lease when now it is $800. What would you do? Tell them to rack off and lose the land you need to earn a living or buy it and follow their rules on your own property or pay the huge amount of lease money and still not be able to use it to your advantage. We are just one of thousands this has been done to and it is one of the smaller injustices that have been done. Please have a look and a listen, we don't whine about nothing, this is important to us and to you.
What are you going to do when everything we use is imported, the food fertilised with human manure and not stored in a clean environment. Have you heard the stories about the clothing that must be washed before you wear it as you will come out in sores sometimes. There is lots to say but this is a start.
It would be a great help in this fight if you would pass this email onto your families, workmates and anyone else on your list. We are desperate to get justice. Glenn and I were in Canberra last Monday protesting for our rights and the rights of so many others. Those who know us will understand how we feel about this, we don't drive to Canberra on a whim.
They have changed our constitution without our input, this is wrong.
Regards Sandi and Farmer Glenn
