Jersey house cows for sale or lease... ready for milking!
Jersey House Cows – for lease &/or sale
Ever wanted a house cow of your very own?
Not to mention one that’s tame, trained to bail and ready for individual handling?
Who hasn’t – it’s a key piece of a healthy and idyllic rural life!
I am currently growing a young herd of pure Jersey milking cows for lease or sale. The current herd of Georgie, Vinnie, Honeydew, Bonnie, (Bonnie is already spoken for), Peta and Maree are aged between 6 and 12 months, so these gorgeous creatures will not be available for sale until early 2011.
If you are interested in getting a house cow in the short term I can source and train them for you from prime dairy regions across NSW.
There are three ways you can have a house cow of your very own:
- purchase outright from the current breeding stock (or subsequent stock),
- lease a cow from the current herd for an agreed period, or
- request a cow be sourced and trained for you to buy or lease for an agreed period in the short term.
All house cows are sold or leased as lactating and trained to handle easily. In most cases the house cow will have a ‘calf-at-foot’ to ensure you don’t get stuck having to milk every single day, but instead only when you need/want to. I provide freight as required to most parts of NSW, and as part of the sourcing process. Electronic milking equipment can also be sourced to make the job really easy.
