DEMETER FARM MILL - Organic & Biodynamic Grains, Pulses etc.
I just thought I’d remind people and let new people know that you can order organic and biodynamic grains, pulses and other dried goods from Demeter in Gunnedah. They require a week’s lead time – we order one Wednesday, and then organize a local courier to pick up the following Wednesday – and then the courier delivers to Coonabarabran early Thursday morning. The delivery cost is usually between $8-10. We’re currently ordering individually. Please email or phone (below) for a current price list and further information. You can order by phone or email.

SOME ORGANIC PRODUCE AT WOOLWORTHS COONABARABRAN
I recently met Wendy, the very friendly fruit and veg manager at Woolworths. She has been ordering in some extra organic lines to see how they go. If they sell well, she can continue ordering them in, but if she has to mark them down too often, her managers jump up and down! So, if you’d like to be able to buy some organic fruit and vegetables at Woolies, please look out for the following organic items in amongst the conventional produce.
Organic mushrooms
Organic medjool dates (near the mushrooms in 200g packs)
Organic carrots
Organic zucchini
Organic bananas
Organic gala apples
Organic valencia oranges
Maybe organic onions
Maybe organic kiwi
Maybe organic broccolini
You can also get organic milk, butter, cheese, yoghurt, mountain bread, leatherwood honey, teas, pasta, tinned tomatoes and beans, sultanas, chocolate, coconut milk, flour, raw sugar and asian noodles etc. It just takes some persistence to find it all!
